Phil Goodhart is a seasoned litigator with extensive trial experience, focusing on general insurance defense, insurance coverage issues, and bad faith litigation. A shareholder at Thorndal Armstrong since 2000, he is well-versed in navigating complex legal challenges and frequently presents CLE seminars on insurance bad faith.

Mr. Goodhart earned his J.D. from the University of San Diego in 1990, where he excelled in Appellate Moot Court competitions, earning the prestigious Order of the Barrister. He is admitted to practice in California and Nevada, as well as before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern District of California and District of Nevada, and the Supreme Courts of both states.

When not in the courtroom, Mr. Goodhart draws on the principles of hard work and competitiveness he honed playing advanced amateur hockey in his youth. He holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, reflecting his exceptional legal skills and ethical standards.
